for width aswell as making a Denier measurement on random samples.
This testing is done in a zone isolated from the effects of vibration
and asseses whether the yarn conforms to the required standards.

The Yarn Quality Control Officer tests the yarn for elongation and
strength, again, in a zone isolated from the effects of vibration.
Once the yarn has been approved, it is given clearance to be used
in the fabric manufacturing process.
